HATSS CLUB

HATSS Club is an initiative of the Pioneer Class 2012 of STH headed by Bilha Mucuha. It was initially established as a club intended for students of tourism and hospitality of STH, but has now opened its doors to all students taking any course in Strathmore University.

It was launched on 19th November 2010 at the University’s graduation square with a cocktail party graced by its advisory council members who are hospitality and tourism professionals.

HATSS Mission

HATSS aims at creating awareness amongst students of the growing tourism and hospitality sector in the country where students can play a big role in building it. HATSS also aims at providing its members with an opportunity to develop leadership, creativity, teamwork and communication skills.

HATSS Vision

Its vision is to promote local tourism among Strathmore students and to enhance their knowledge of the hospitality industry in an enjoyable and interactive environment.

Membership

HATSS is open to all students of Strathmore University who has the interest to learn and engage in the hospitality and tourism industry in Kenya.

A membership fee of KSH 200 is payable upon registration.
